Cold rooms and freezer rooms

We are experts when it comes to cold, freezer rooms and blast freezers. We have manufactured and installed through out the whole Africa for a verity of different applications.

With our fast insulating panel manufacturing line we are capable of doing any scale of project.

In the cold and freezer room industry we mainly use two types of panels.

Plain	Fluted

For transporting all panels are stacked on top of each other. All angels, flashings and channels are wrapped together. Blower coils and condensing units are crated in wood boxes and all smalls (strip curtains, expansion valves, pop rivets, fishers, silicone etc.) are placed in the condenser box.

Our condensers are all ready assembled when it leaves our factory. All condensers are designed for your individual application and ambient. They also include an electric box with components.

We mainly use pack units.

We also have a wide variety of blower coils available to match a condenser unit.

With all our cold rooms we supply the correct amount of angels, channels, flushings, silicone, pop rivets and fishers.

We manufacture from 75mm panels up to 250mm panels, depending on your application. With most cold rooms an insulated floor is not necessary, but with all freezer rooms and blast freezers it is compulsory.

We have two methods of insulated floors.

We manufacture hinge doors up to 1.4m wide and any size sliding doors. All doors are equipped with a safety striker inside, so if a person is trapped in a cold or freezer room, the door can still be opened from the inside even if it is locked.

Our doors are made thinner than the panels, but with a higher density 40DV (40kg per m2). All doors are capped with aluminum channels all round. With a double lip seal the sealing capabilities are excellent. All low temp doors are fitted with a heater to prevent the door from freezing up and not opening. The door hinges are camlift type to prevent the bottom seal from wearing.

We have three different types of insulated panels that we can manufacture

Plain & fluted:

Mostly used in cold freezer rooms. These panels have a very unique tong and groove joining system when erected there no gaps, thus saving silicone.

IBR PANEL




IBR Panels

IBR panels are mostly used in construction of factories. It is becoming very popular because of its strength and energy saving capabilities.

Our insulated panels are made of a polystyrene (EPS) insulator and cladded with 0.5mm galvanized pre-painted chromadek steel. The steel is bonded with a very strong steel 2 ply polyurethane glue. For packaging of the panels we use either sticky plastic film on the chromadeck or bubble wrap. We also supply all mounting and installation materials.

DIY Cold/Freezer Rooms

We manufacture do it yourself kit form cold and freezer rooms. These kit form units are made so that any person with a little technical mind can install the cold/freezer rooms. The refrigiration unit is plug and play. Sizes vary in 2.4m, 3.6m, 4.8m and 6m lengths.
